Midtown is an Excel By 5-certified early childhood community. A team of educators, community leaders, and parents works together to support the children and families living there.


Since 2007, Mid-Jackson Excel By 5 has continued to partner with individuals, foundations, organizations, and institutions that share our commitment to children and their families.


There are many ways to get involved; choose the best option for you!


  Volunteer- We’re always looking for talented volunteers to help us ensure that every child can receive the best early learning and care opportunities possible. We offer both short and long-term volunteer commitments to anyone interested.

  Donate- We accept learning materials and toys for children from birth to 5 years old.
