Beulah

We became an Excel By 5 candidate community and established our community coalition in February of 2013. A team of educators, community leaders, and parents are working together to help make our community an even more nurturing and safer environment for our children.  Our coalition is small but mighty!  We understand the importance of early education and are learning how to support our families with young children. Despite limited resources, we continue to make strides towards creating a child-friendly community. “We believe here in Beulah, Mississippi that, it takes a village to raise a child.  We are a small community with very few resources, but our children are our future.” – Linda Foster (RIP) Beulah, MS is a small, incorporated town with 520 residents located in Bolivar County.  Beulah is served by the West Bolivar Consolidated School District.  The Mayor, Board of Aldermen, parents, and residents want the best for young children, and we plan to build a strong network to support children and parents living in Beulah.
