Welcome to Excel by 5 Pascagoula.

We are now the third E-B-5 certified community!  Since 2004, a team of educators, community leaders, and parents have been working together to make Pascagoula "child-friendly".  Browse through our section of this website to see what steps were taken to assist us in reaching our goals.

Our Pascagoula Early Beginnings Resource Library is located on Market Street between Tucker and Skip Avenues across from Pascagoula High School.  The Resource Library is full of developmentally appropriate materials for children, birth to five years of age.  There are books, games, toys, manipulative materials, videos, puzzles and much more.  There are resources for parents, teachers and day care providers also available for check out.  Holidays follow the Pascagoula School District Calendar schedule.  The check out policy is two items for a two week loan period.  Material check out is available to all residents of the Pascagoula School District.  Usage of the Pascagoula Early Beginnings Resource Center is available to all residents of Jackson County.  There are parent training programs available and four state of the art computers with Internet access.  Please come by and check out materials from this wonderful lending library for you and your child!  Call 228. 938.6418 for more information.
