Lafayette County, in conjunction with the city of Oxford and the University of Mississippi, is in the process of achieving an Excel By 5 Early Childhood Community certified status.  Serving under the acronym LOU, a team of educators, community leaders, and parents compose a united entity working to make the county a safer and more nurturing environment for our children.
