Cleveland Community Back to School Rally will be held Saturday August 6, 2011 at the united Family Life Center at 3 p.m. Guest speaker - Dr.Montrell Greene (free school supplies, children's entertainment, free books, parenting information, and so much more).

Cleveland-Showcasing of Schools
During this event Cleveland's schools and its support staff present a showcasing of what they do and have to offer to the community. The Cleveland's coaltion will set up a booth to help sign parents up for CHIP and medicaid. Parents will receice lots of goodies after completing the CHIP/medicaid bounce-back card.

Early childhood educators/providers come together quarterly(minimum) and are trained on early learning guidelines and age appropriate curricula so that everyone knows and understands the levels of competencies leading to a successful transition from one level of the child's education to the next.
Community-wide Update Meeting
The Community-wide Update Meeting is an annual event where by citizens from the Cleveland community(businesses, parents, school reps, childcare providers, faith based organizations, local elected officials, advocates for early childhood, etc.) come together, networking and discussing ways to create and maintain a quality early childhood community.
Town meeting will be held on Monday April 2, 2012 at 6 p.m. at the Extension Service building located at 406 North Martin L. King Dr. Cleveland, Mississippi.
