Alligator

Welcome to Alligator Excel by 5.

We are in the process of becoming an Excel By 5 certified early childhood community. A team of educators, community leaders, and parents are working together to help make Alligator an even more nurturing, safer environment for our children.

The Town of Alligator became an Excel By 5 Candidate Community in January of 2013.  The Community Coalition was established in February 2013 and the Community Needs Assessment was conducted in March.  The Coalition members are passionate members from the community who also serve on the Mayor’s Health Council.  The Community is excited about going through the Excel By 5 certification process because passionately pursue a healthier community starts with and includes the youngest residents.  The Coalition’s goal is to work alongside the Mayor and other community partners to make Alligator a “Child and Adult Friendly Community”!
